Gareth Cox is a freelance sound engineer living in London.
He maintains his career by exceling in the latest digital consoles and sound reinforcement systems.
2018 has been an incredible year for Gareth seeing him travel the world.
He has worked with 2Cellos on their European Tour and is set to go to Japan and Australia on tour later in the year.
He also worked with JHUS, Not3s, Rejjie Snow, Santan Dave and Kara Marni at Reading and Leeds Festivals, Wireless Festival, Rize Festival, Love Box Festival, Parklife Festival, Holiday Lands Festival South Korea and Wacken Festival Germany.
Gareth also continues to work with Joe McElderry, He became Tour Manager & FOH Engineer in 2013, in which they embarked on a summer tour. Then in 2014 the band were back out for the Set Your Soul Alive Tour, with 60 dates performing all around the UK.
The 2015 Evolution Tour grew to be an incredible showcase for Joe McElderry, his band crew hitting nearly 100 dates around the UK.
Gareth embarked on the Northern Light Tour in 2016, and then worked alongside Bill Kenwright's team for The Gloria Tour in 2017.
In 2018 he continues to work with Joe and the band.
Throughout 2016, Gareth toured with Kelis as Monitor Engineer as part of the band's European Festival Tour, worked alongside KANO as a dep on the Made In The Manor Tour.
Gareth also had the privelage to work with the amazing Beverley Knight.
During 2012 to 2014, Gareth was also Tour Manager & Sound Engineer for the electric string quartet, Escala. This took him across the globe, touring in London, Paris, Zurich, Turkey, USA, Dubai and India.
Gareth’s work takes him across the world, working for a wide variety of clients, he takes great pride in his work, and strives to be proficient with the latest digital equipment. He is now in high demand for his services as an audio engineer.
The early years of Gareth’s career were spent rigging concerts with the Chaps Production Company.
It wasnt until 2009 that Gareth embarked on his first UK tour with the Electro-Pop sensation FRANKMUSIK - he toured as monitor engineer on the back of the top 40 album - Complete Me.
Upon this success, Gareth has mixed monitors for Ronan Keating, Jamie Cullam, Hot Chocolate as well as being system technician for James Morrison, Razorlight, Tony Hadley, Tinchy Stryder and One Direction.
In 2011 Gareth toured again mixing monitors for Frankmusik, in Germany and the UK.
Throughout the last few years he has worked at V-Festival, Rock-am-Ring in Germany, Love Luton Festival and the Dagenham Town Show when he mixed monitors for Lemar.
2012 - The year of olympics had a spin off of many events, Gareth has mixed monitors for The Allstars Collective for the USA team family celebration parties at Battersea Power Station.
Gareth was also part of the Subfrantic team that ran The Experience, a Gospel event in Lagos, Nigera for 700,000 people.
